Natural Non-Invasive Effective Evidence-Based Holistic Medicine
ACUPRESSURE FOR ALL
ATA (Acuseed Therapy®️Acupressure) is a modality that is for everyone! All bodies, every mind & spirit!
All inclusive, collective wellness.
Acuseed Therapy®️ Acupressure (ATA) was developed by Licensed Doctor of Acupuncture, Dr. Colleen Curran in 2016, while specifically treating oncology patients contraindicated to be needled at The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Kaufman Cancer Center.
The most widely used medicinal seeds are vaccaria, cowherb or in chinese medicine, “Wang Bu Lui Xing”, harvested from a monotypic genus of flowering plants. Considered a weed, the plant can grow to two and a half feet with lovely pink and white hermophroditic flowers, pictured above. Harvested in the summer, the entire plant is dried in sunlight, with seeds removed from their shells and then, dried again. The raw seeds are placed on clear, non-latex adhesives and called “Acuseeds”.
ATA has expanded to include “Flare Care” Acuminerals®️and Acuspheres. In alignment with the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is honored and renewed by sealing the imperfections with gold, these special additions celebrate the imperfections in us all, We are emboldened on our own path of Zen with a beautiful statement of placing beauty where pain or dis-ease may be.
Gently suggestive yet powerfully effective, Acuseed Medicine is grounded in reminding the brain and body of its own innate, natural ability to reach homeostasis/balance.
*ATA should be utilized and administered with guidance from Dr. Curran and her protocols, or a certified ATA Practitioner. Although there are no contraindications for ATA, there are acupoint guidelines and protocol distinctions unique to this therapy, that should be learned and abided by to ensure that absolutely no harm can be caused.
